Finally the autum/winter season is flooding Ekseption!

Texture-Time

La nueva temporada de Otono/Invierno esta empezando a llegar a Ekseption y cual es la primera impresión que me ha dado? Que las texturas cobran protagonismo contagiando hasta los prints. Desde la explosión de pailletes irregulares en Theysken's, el tweed en Proenza Schouler, hasta terciopelo o cascadas de lentejuelas en Fendi. Para mirar y tocar!

Rumi Neely es una de esas chicas a las que les queda bien todo, cualquier cosa que se ponga parace que ha sido diseñada especialmente para ella. Fue mi amiga Gala, que entra también en esta categoría de chica excepcional, quien me introdujo a Rumi de Fashiontoast.com y tengo que decir que después de haber estado de fiesta juntos en Nueva York en el Maritime Hotel hace unos años y despues de comer juntos en Pastis el pasado noviembre, que no solo es una entendida del estilo, sino que es una chica super dulce y simpática. Sus fotos en Fashiontoast reflejan perfectamente su pasión por la vida y, evidentemente, por la moda. Rumi Neely is one of those girls that could look good in anything, what ever she puts on seems like if it had been specially designed for her. I first heard of Fashiontast.com 's Rumi from my friend Gala, who also fits in this stand-out girl category and I have to say after partying with her in New York at the Maritime Hotel a few years back and after lunch in Pastis last november that she's not just a style queen but a sweet heart too. El estampado camuflaje-militar es uno de mis favoritos y nunca pasará de moda por muchas versiones fatídicas que salgan de él. Sin embargo he de reconocer mi pasión por los camuflajes más fashion que plantean diseñadores como Dries Van Noten con sus pantalones cortos ideales para irte al bosque, la blusa Equipment para un Safari for Africa o el top floreado de Mary Katrantzou para un pic-nic en el Jardin Botánico

The military camouflage print is one of my favorite and it will never go out of fashion no matter how many wrong people we see sporting it. However I must admit my passion for the new, more realistic, trendy camouflage that designers like Dries Van Noten are proposing with these shorts, perfect for a trip to the green forest, the Equipment shirt for a Safari in Africa or this flowery top by Mary Katrantzou for a pic-nic at the botanic garden

Así de guapa me encuentro a Carmen Abascal, una ingeniera industrial de 25 años, natal de Oviedo,

 que paseaba por la calle Velazquez en una calurosa mañana de primavera con este maravilloso vestido
